Why Dreams of Iran ?
Dreams of Iran (L’Iran des Rêves) is a cultural travel agency specialising in tourism in Iran, working with travel agencies as well as with individual travellers. We offer eight ready-made travel programmes that we have called the eight gardens of paradise (see below).
However, we have also thought of those who want a different experience and to discover more of Iran. For these travellers, we have created another option where you can design your own personal travel in Iran with our help, our advices and our extended social and cultural network all over the country (tailor made trips).
The eight gardens of paradise
The eight gardens of paradise is the name of a poem written in the early 14th century by Amir Khosrow. In the Islamic cosmology, Paradise has eight different levels.
With the ambition of organizing trips in Iran as pleasant as these eight gardens, we have meticulously prepared eight travel programmes, taking into account the advantages and disadvantages of each local destination. Among them, there are six “classic” programmes varying from 11 to 17 days, focusing mostly on the main touristic route of Iran, Shiraz / Yazd / Ispahan, to give a first and very general impression of Iran (programmes 1 to 6).
For those who have fallen in love with Iran, which is very common, and want to discover more of this country and its culture, we have prepared two further itineraries, one in southeast Iran (programme no. 7) and another in northwest Iran (programme no. 8).
